Modules are customizable “drop-ins” you can put on your personal website to promote certain properties, and help get people to your MLS search. They work well as content for your sidebars or even content on your home-page. Here’s an excellent example from the Homes By Haycox Team:

Using a Map Search Module as in the example above, you can choose to display all of the listings associated with you Agent or Office ID. So, how do you do it?

To build a Module, first you have to create a custom link. Read: How To Create A Custom Link. Once you’ve done that, select which type of Module you would like to place on your site. Currently, you can choose from 1 of 4 modules:

  • Quick Search
  • Featured Slider
  • Featured Map
  • Map Search

Then choose one of the Custom Links you’ve built.

Once you’ve reached this step, you can set the size you would like for your module. When you’re done adjusting the size for that module, click on “Update Changes” and it’ll render a new script code in the box to the right. You want to copy-paste that code into the appropriate page/section of your site where you would like to display your new Module.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed all of the steps necessary to enable Modules on your website!
