If you have registration enabled when Visitors search your IDX, your Visitors will be initially shown the basic registration fields (Name, Email, Password). You can add additional registration fields if you wish like:

  • Address,
  • City,
  • State,
  • Phone
  • Referral,

…and, you can even include Custom Registration Fields. To create custom registration fields, simply:

  1. Log into your Control Panel,
  2. Hover over dsSearchAgent >> Click on “Options”
  3. Click on the “Registration” Tab

Scroll down to the section that reads “Show Profile Fields On Registration” and click on the “Edit Custom Registration Fields” button.

Here, you can add and title your own custom registration field. For example, you might want to know if an IDX Visitor is already working with another agent. So, type that in as a question and click “Add Field” and select the check-box to make it a “Required” field.

You can add as many custom registration fields as you wish. When your finished, click “Done” and those fields will now appear on your registration option.
