1. Log into your Control Panel,
2. Hover over IDX Products and click on “Options”,
3. Scroll to the right and click on the “Registration” tab.

Here, you’ll see a section for customizing your Registration settings:

In this example, you’re essentially telling the search system to allow 3 total searches and 5 listing detail views before prompting the user to register and create an account.

In addition to setting your registration settings here however, you can also install your IDX system on your website and prompt the registration form to encourage site visitors to create an account, all without altering your registration settings. This is known as displaying your IDX registration form on page load. To do this,

1. Log into your Control Panel,
2. Click on “IDX Products”,
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “Add IDX To Your Site” and “Frame HTML Code”.

Before you grab the HTML code to place the IDX map search on your website, you need to select the “Registration” radio button on the left-hand side for the option that reads “Display on Page Load.” Once you’ve checked the radio button, it will automatically alter your HTML code so that it properly displays the IDX registration form whenever your IDX page is loaded.

You can edit the following:

• Your name,
• Company name,
• Address
• Cell phone number,
• Office phone number, and
• Email

In addition, you can also remove the header all together if you’d like. To do so, you need to confirm that you’re settings are correct first. To do this, perform the following steps:

1. Log into your Control Panel,
2. Hover over IDX Products and click on “Options”
3. Click on the “Domains” tab located on the far right.

There, you want to make sure to include the URL of the web page where you have framed the dsSearchAgent IDX script code.

The URL that you enter there will serve as the base for any links generated to your IDX. Links sent out via listing alert emails, through RSS feeds, and shown on modules will redirect to that URL (for example: yoursite.com/home-search).

Once you’ve entered the appropriate URL there, you just need to verify that our Support Department has approved your domain for dsSearchAgent and your header will automatically be removed.

If you’ve completed this steps outlined above and your header is removed, you’re all set to go.

If you’ve completed the steps outlines above but you still see your header, contact our Support Department and ask them to remove the header from your IDX search: support(at)diversesolutions(dot)com. Here’s a sample email, our team will know what to do from there

Subject Line: Remove Header from IDX

I’ve added the URL where I have my IDX search placed in my Control Panel. Can you approve my website domain to remove the header from my map search? Here’s my website address _____________________.

ANSWER: This is a limitation of the WordPress management system; they will not allow for our widgets on content pages. We’ve tried working around this without luck so far, but may come up with alternatives in a future release.

• Log into your Control Panel
• Hover over dsSerachAgent >> Click on “Options”
• Click on the “Registration” Tab

At the top of the registration tab you’ll see a section that reads: “Send me an email when a Visitor registers”. Make sure you have this box checked off.

We send the email notifications using the email you provide on the Agent Info tab of the same options area. We send the alerts to the email address you provide in the Sending Email box, or if you leave it blank, we send the alerts to your Display Email.

• Log into your Control Panel,
• Hover over dsAgentReach >> Click on “Forms”

Here, you can access and edit your Saved Forms or click on the “Start Form Creation” button to create a new form.

The next step is to edit your Form Details:

• Title your form,
• Set the “Destination Group” – this is the name of the group that contacts will be added to when they fill out this form.
• Add auto-tags – anyone who submits this form will be tagged with whatever tags you indicate.

Then, proceed to add Information Fields to your new Custom Form:

Here, you can add fields like: Name, Email, Address, Phone, etc. Just title your “Field Title”, select an “information field”, select your “Input Type” and click “Add Information Field.”

Once you’re done adding all of your information fields, click “Save and Update Generated HTML” and add that HTML to the appropriate page on your site and you’re all set!

To activate dsAgentChat, perform the following steps:

• Log into your Control Panel,
• Hover over dsAgentChat >> Click on “Dashboard”

Here you’ll have two options:

1. Start chatting via “Desktop Chat”
2. Start chatting via “Web Based Chat”

DESKTOP CHAT:

Clicking on “Desktop Chat” will prompt you to download the Adobe Air application (recommended). Just follow the steps to download and setup your dsAgentChat. This will make it easy for you to log into your chat the next time you boot up your computer.

WEB BASED CHAT:

Click on web based chat will bring up a pop-up window for you to connect with new site visitors.

A Sitemap is an XML file that lists the URLs for a site. It allows webmasters to include additional information about each URL: when it was last updated, how often it changes, and how important it is in relation to other URLs in the site. This allows search engines to crawl the site more intelligently.

To create a Sitemap for your blog, simply download the Google XML Sitemaps plugin. The plugin will essentially generate an XML Sitemap for you that will make it easier for search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) to crawl and index your pages better.

Once you’ve installed and Activated the Google XML Sitemap plugin, navigate to the “XML-Sitemap” page in your dashboard under your “Settings.” You’ll want to create your first Sitemap by simply following the step-by-step instructions after which you’ll see the following message:

Then, if you’re using dsIDXpress, you can add locations (City, Community, Tract, or Zip) to your XML Sitemap from the dsIDXpress Options dashboard.

Once you’re done configuring your Sitemap, a URL will be generated that looks like this: yourblog.com/sitemap.xml

• Log into your WordPress Dashboard,
• Click on the “Widgets” link under “Appearance”

Here, locate the IDX Listings widget and drag it to the appropriate place on your sidebar. The IDX Listings widget allows you to show listings within an area (city, community, tract, or zip). Additionally, you can show your own listings, show  your office listings or show listings based on a completely customizable search. The widget can be configured to show up to 50 listings at a time and can be set to show the properties in a list, on a map, or in a detailed slideshow.

To configure your IDX Listings widget once you’ve added it to your sidebar, simply click on the drop-down arrow next to the widget title. You’ll want to:

• Title your widget,
• Select the number of listings to display (max 50)
• Select how you want to display results by default (by list, by details, by map),
• Select an area or choose to display your own listings, your office listings or choose a Custom Link that you created in dsSearchAgent

Once you’re done adjusting all of your settings, click on “Save” to publish your IDX Listings Widget.
